Every year we say to ourselves, “I’m going to get all my Christmas shopping done early, because the stress is just not worth it”, but then low and behold, we are back where we were last year: late night shopping, fighting for car parks and squeezing through shopping crowds.
The worst part is that it is officially too late to order any gifts online, as they will not arrive in time.
Here is my game-changing tip to help alleviate your stress and reduce the countless hours spent on searching for perfect gifts through the city’s entire population: Shop for your gifts online, decide what you want, then visit the physical store, b-line for your pre-chosen items, check-out, and done!
To hopefully save you more time, here are some awesome gift ideas I have found during my Christmas shopping this year.
What girl doesn’t love Mecca. Mecca has a wide range of beauty products that any girl would love to receive as either a gift or a stocking filler. Whether you visit a Mecca Cosmetica, Mecca Maxima, or MECCA in Myer, there are gift options galore.
Some great value gifts that I have come across are the Brushing Beauty set by Kit, Grandiose Look Coffret gift set by LANCÔME, and Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick duo gift pack.
Candles are always a go-to gift. However, these Gascoigne & King Candles are nothing like ones you have had before. They have a range of unique and luxurious scents that you cannot get anywhere else – you won’t go wrong with any of them. These luxe candles are available at Life with Bird. Here are some of my favourite scents.
Turkish towels are a thing this summer – and you will see them all over the beach. They are fast drying, and 100% pure cotton. You can find them in stores everywhere, but my personal favourite are the ones from Hammamas. If you are in a hurry to get some, they are available at David Jones.
Another season favourite are the Sunnylife inflatables that are trending all over the world now. Last summer it was all about having a pink flamingo or white swan in your pool, but this year there are so many more products that Sunnylife have released that would make perfect Christmas gifts. Sunnylife have stockists everywhere, but the most convenient stockist is Myer at their Giftorium section.
My personal favourites are the rose gold flamingo, the round banana palm inflatable, and the lie-on float pineapple.
I’m loving statement earrings at the moment. Especially the range from F+H Jewellery, who are based in Byron Bay. All of their stunning pieces are either Stirling silver or 18 karat gold – no toxic metals. They are available at DIIDA on Chapel Street, South Yarra. Here are some of my favs from their collection.
As usual, let me know what you think, and please share some of your great gift ideas.
Happy shopping & Merry Christmas fashionistas!
